Music Therapy

Music Therapy is the use of music to obtain a non-music goal, such as improving attention, expressing emotions safely, reaching developmental milestones or relaxation. No experience or knowledge of music is necessary for the client, the music therapist will design the sessions so that ALL clients are musically successful, regardless of age, cognitive level or physical ability.

Music Therapy Services are available privately for your special needs child or adult family member. We are also able to provide group therapy in your childcare facility, school, healthcare facility, or specialized program.

Our board-certified music therapists will assess the potential client(s), develop a treatment plan and document progress.

Music interventions may include playing instruments, singing, moving to music, songwriting, rhythmic cuing, relaxation training, lyric analysis, musical games and other music-based activities.
