In memory of our late CEO/Founder, Robyn Harris, we’ve established a scholarship fund dedicated to offering lessons and musical opportunities to aspiring musicians. Robyn’s vision was to share the gift of music with the community, a dream she realized through the creation of Musical Surprise.
Upon relocating to Arizona in 2008, Robyn founded Musical Surprise in Surprise, Arizona. Serving as the CEO/Owner, she was driven by a passion to create a musical haven for people of all ages. Leveraging her musical expertise and business acumen, Robyn transformed Musical Surprise into the largest Music Center in the West Valley of Arizona.
What has been the proudest moment of your career so far? “It’s hard to find one moment- but when our students are performing, whether it be in a formal recital, a rock concert in the park or a local restaurant, a piano ensemble with 12 grand pianos, or for a local retirement home- it is just a remarkable experience to see them sharing their music with others. Our commitment to community service drives us to share the legacy left by Robyn. We aim to offer students, who might lack the means to start on their own, the chance to receive up to six months of lessons. This scholarship is made possible through the generous contributions of students, staff, and the community.

Scholarship Application Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nominees must be aged 6 or above.
- Nominees must be residents of Arizona.
Offer and Acceptance:
- Successful scholarship candidates will receive an official offer email containing details about the funds.
- Recipients are required to respond to the offer, either accepting or rejecting it, within 14 days of receiving the email.
Scholarship Acceptance Process:
- Upon acceptance, students must agree to and sign all provided terms and conditions before scheduling lessons.
