Musical Surprise is currently accepting entries for a scholarship essay contest open to all area students.
The winning student will receive 6 months of FREE music lessons in any instrument provided at the studio. The contest is open to all local students even if they already take lessons at Musical Surprise.
If students need ideas of what programs are available at Musical Surprise, they can check out the Lessons & Classes page on the website.
To enter, students need to submit an essay of 500 words or less on what music means to them and how taking lessons would be beneficial to them. Students should include a phone number and email address with their essay submission.
Essays need to be submitted by Saturday, April 14th, 2012 and should be sent to scholarships@musicalsurprise.com.
Winner will be announced May 14th, 2012.
